HONOR YOUR PET’S CAREGIVER
Grateful Client Giving
Show appreciation for the compassionate care WSU’s veterinary professionals have given to your animal companion

Give

Behind every gift to WSU’s Veterinary Teaching Hospital is a story. A dog learns to walk again. A beloved pet’s life is saved from cancer. A horse receives arthroscopic surgery and goes on to win another race. An eagle is released back into the wild.

Your gift is also a way to honor your veterinarian and the veterinary hospital staff who provide the very best care to yours and everyone’s animals.

Give hope when you give to Cancer Care

While our current machine has provided exceptional radiation treatment to thousands of animals, we need to replace it now to provide even more accurate and safer treatment to our animal patients.

Each year, we treat around 300 dogs and 40 cats for cancer. Dogs like Kiki, a border collie mix, or Booda, a dachshund, that now have second leases on life, or Lucy, a Boston terrier, and Zoey, a miniature goldendoodle, that each enjoyed more time with their families because of cancer care at WSU.

“We can actually cure patients, not just prolong their lives, but actually cure them. It is an investment in every pet that might need radiation therapy.”

—Janean Fidel, WSU veterinary oncologist

Other ways you can make a difference in the lives of animals and those who love them

Pet memorial program

The WSU Pet Memorial Program is a way for you to offer meaningful comfort to those who have lost an animal companion or for those who want to make a lasting memorial of their own.

Support animal care

Your gift can bring life-saving equipment and technology to the Veterinary Teaching Hospital. With your help, we can make it possible for an injured dog to walk again, provide life-saving surgery to a horse, repair a bird’s broken wing, or help save a beloved animal’s life from cancer.

Good Samaritan: Be their hero

We know your heart goes out to animals in need. You can make a big difference in the lives of families and their beloved pets who cannot afford treatment.

Leave your legacy

Connect your love of animals with the WSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital to leave your legacy. Legacy gifts are a way to manage your affairs, plan for the future, and make a meaningful difference.

Pituitary Surgery service

Your gift can provide life-saving pituitary surgery to dogs with Cushing’s disease or cats with acromegaly.
