Biography

Dr. Rachel Rivenburg is a clinical lecturer in Small Animal Surgery. After earning her DVM here at WSU in 2018, she completed small animal rotating and surgical internships at WestVet Boise, a surgical oncology internship at the University of Florida, a combined small animal surgery residency and master’s degree at the University of Illinois, and a surgical oncology fellowship at the University of Florida. Her clinical interests are primarily surgical oncology, especially complex intra-cavitary tumor resection. Her research interests are varied and include surgical oncology, emergency surgical diseases, and working dog injuries.
