Ana Rebelo

Biography

Dr. Ana P. Rebelo recently joined the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences as a clinical assistant professor and a member of the Oncology team. She earned her DVM through a joint program between the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná – PUCPR (Brazil) and Kansas State University. Following graduation, she completed a rotating internship at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Saskatchewan, and an oncology internship at Washington State University. She then began her small animal medical oncology residency at Tufts University and completed it at WSU, where she also earned a master’s degree in biomedical sciences.

Dr. Rebelo’s clinical interests include hemangiosarcoma, hematological oncology, and comparative oncology. Outside the hospital, she enjoys spending time with friends and exploring new places and cultures.
