Debra Sellon

Dr. Debra Sellon is a faculty member in the hospital’s Equine Medicine and Emergency and Critical Care services. She completed her residency training in large animal medicine at North Carolina State University and her large animal rotating internship at Texas A&M University. After a decade of heavy administrative responsibilities, Dr. Sellon has returned her focus to her first passions – providing care for sick horses and their people, conducting research to enhance the health and well-being of animals, and training tomorrow’s veterinarians. In her research, Dr. Sellon seeks answers to questions related to equine infectious diseases, equine pain management, and injuries in dogs that compete in canine agility. Agility Dog Health Network
