We offer medical care for camelids like camels, llamas, and alpacas. From primary medical care and disease prevention through our mobile service to reproductive care, we understand the special needs of these unique animals.

Our experienced large animal veterinary team of board-certified theriogenologists, residents and interns, licensed veterinary technicians, and fourth-year veterinary students works together to care for your animal.

When you arrive for your appointment

WSU’s Large Animal Services are located inside the Large Animal Barn at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital.

For appointments, please proceed up Ott Road to the large animal intercom. Before unloading your animal, proceed to the reception desk to have your animal admitted.
