Radiation treatments have resumed

The Veterinary Teaching Hospital has completed the installation of its new state-of-the-art linear accelerator capable of providing advanced radiation therapy and life-saving care to animal cancer patients.

While our team is committed to providing the best care possible, there may be a short wait time for new patients as we work through getting the LINAC operating at full capacity and as we prioritize scheduling treatments for those who have been patiently waiting to start their life-saving therapies.

Since late June, the hospital has been working to install the new equipment, resulting in the temporary unavailability of radiation therapy services.

Thank you for your patience and continued support. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact the hospital at 509-335-0711.
