Emergency and Critical Care service to be limited July 1-23

The 24-hour Emergency and Critical Care service at Washington State University’s Veterinary Teaching Hospital will be limited July 1-23 due to temporary staffing shortages.

During most times throughout this period, only one veterinarian will be on shift to oversee both the Intensive Care Unit and the Emergency Room, which will limit the number of Emergency Room patients that can be handled.

We will do our best to handle as many cases as we can, but we will have our limitations. A staff member will be available to consult on cases.

To reach WSU’s 24-hour emergency care service, call 509-335-0711.
